Greetings! I've been in the helping profession for over 10 years and the journey has been both personally and professionally rewarding! I have experience working with people from all different backgrounds who are struggling with a wide variety of challenges. My counseling style focuses on building a trusting, authentic therapeutic relationship, creating a judgment-free space for clients to explore life challenges and relationships. I am committed to helping you reach your goals in therapy and I look forward to encouraging you every step of the way!
The therapeutic approaches that I find most effective are Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy; however, I combine different therapeutic approaches based on my client's presenting concerns. My treatment style is rooted in psychodynamic and client-centered approaches.
My training experience comes from Lindenwood University where I received a dual Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. I attended Tuskegee University for my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. My clinical experience comes from Washington University School of Medicine.
