Time and again, the same struggles can show up in relationships or at work. I know how hard it is to break the cycle. Other times, events and life changes challenge our ability to cope and accomplish what we need. Healing and self-discovery are possible in a safe and supportive therapy relationship. My goal is to help you create a rich and meaningful life and better navigate life's challenges. I work with folks facing a range of issues, with a specialty in trauma, burnout, relationship issues and eco-anxiety/climate grief. If you experience stress from caring for/about others and our environment, I am ready to support you.
In therapy, I attend to ways in which the ideas, actions and policies in our communities, cultures and families can be sources of both pain and resilience. I am committed to providing queer- and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and I believe in the collaborative exploration of all intersections of identity that feel important to you. My experience informs my work.
My career has been in international humanitarian aid and gender-based violence, and I currently serve as a board member of a local DV/IPV organization. Trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1), I specialize in bringing neuroscience and the mind-body connection into therapy. I also support people in therapeutically integrating psychedelic experiences.

Groups
Navigating Climate Distress
Distress, anxiety, grief and existential dread are legitimate responses to a global climate crisis and are important areas to address to help you better navigate our changing world. This 10-week group provides social and emotional peer support to people who feel overwhelmed about the state of the world. We use the Good Grief Network's 10-Step Program to help participants process their overwhelming feelings, deconstruct and reimagine cultural narratives, build community, reconnect with joy and meaning, and reinvest energies into meaningful efforts. Weekly meetings are virtual for two hours each over 10 weeks. Contact me to learn more!
