I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University. Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele including children, adolescents, teens, and adults. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, self-esteem struggles, parenting, and relationship issues.
My approach is client-centered and includes creating a safe, warm, and accepting environment. I utilize techniques from various modalities in which I’m trained including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trauma Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and play therapy.
I believe the foundation for therapy is building a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship. I strive to restore hope, healing, and to empower clients to reach their full potential.
