Welcome, glad you're here! Clients I work with come into therapy feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves and others. You may be struggling to navigate stressors in your relationships or life transitions and changes. I welcome exploring the intersectionality of race, religion, sexuality, disability, culture and all other identities in relation to your healing journey. Being first generation and Mexican-American myself, I value understanding the multifaceted being that is you. I enjoy working with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, codependency, family of origin, grief, and relationship issues.
I draw from a trauma and culturally conscious lens. I’m especially passionate about helping my clients heal from the impacts of trauma and reconnecting with their bodies. I utilize a holistic approach that integrates body awareness and mindfulness techniques, primarily pulling from Psychodynamic Theory and somatic-based interventions.
I believe in the power of building a strong therapeutic relationship to navigate the uncomfortable, yet rewarding voyage that is therapy. I value authenticity and welcome humor in the therapeutic dynamic.
