My passion is working with individuals to reduce and stop both anxiety and depression. I see many people who struggle with PTSD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and with a history of childhood abuse (emotional/physical/sexual) and trauma. I offer evidence based help using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing(EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Neurofeedback. You will gain concrete tools, find solutions and feel connected, supported and reach goals you have set for your life!
I graduated from the University of San Diego in 2000 with my Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy. I have worked at Scripps Hospital, Children's Outpatient Psychiatry and I'm currently a supervisor for Therapists in training. I stay on top of the latest research and education. I am certified by EMDRIA to provide EMDR to clients to facilitate healing.
To complement my academic training I have real life experience everyday with my beautiful blended family of 6 children, two dogs, one cat and of course my husband! I have a relaxed atmosphere and look forward to seeing all of my clients grow, change and resolve life's challenges! I will assist you in finding solutions as quickly as possible.
