I have over 10 years’ experience working with a variety of individuals: children, adolescents, adults, couples, & families. I specialize in issues of depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, trauma, foster/adoption, divorce, Co-parenting, self-esteem, grief, parenting, and school-based concerns. My approach to therapy is strength-based and outcome oriented. I believe the process of therapy involves partnering together to promote a healthy therapeutic relationship with a sense of safety, trust, and acceptance while setting achievable goals and helping the client achieve self-acceptance leading to a secure, healthy sense of self.
I have experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral concerns in home, community, and school settings. I also specialize in parenting providing Nurturing parenting education. I believe it is important to partner with parent(s) supporting them by providing positive strategies to promote positive child-parent relationship.
I have provided services at local community-based agencies, family courts and school settings which has provided a diverse variety of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I also work with children and adolescents who have an Individualized education plan (IEP) providing therapeutic support focused on personal and academic success.
