I strive to create an environment that is calm, safe, non-judgmental, and validating and give clients the power to determine what they would like to focus on during sessions. Therapy can help individuals develop insight into themselves, consider and implement solutions to their concerns, clarify their goals and create plans to achieve them. It will also help individuals grow in various elements of their lives, and find a safe space of support and empathy. I support clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, body image concerns, decision making, relational concerns, and career concerns.
I utilize active listening to help me first understand clients' concerns and then explore and address clients' thinking. I will present various skills based on my clients' unique concerns helping them manage mental health and relational concerns, shift their thinking patterns, and think through decisions holistically.
Although therapy can feel intimidating to start and can carry some stigma, it is a valuable practice to support your overall wellness.
