I began my career in counseling in the 1980’s when I served as a Correctional Counselor for the California Department of Corrections. While working for the Department of Corrections, I received many life lessons that inform my practice today. I am eclectic in the therapeutic methods I employ, which is dependent upon individual client needs. I have over 8+ years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric hospital, crisis intervention, outpatient, the Clark County School District (CCSD), and in private practice. I work with children (ages 5-12 y/o), youth, adults, couples, families and maintain an affirming stance for individuals who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Hello there! I'm Dr. Zochowski-Tullio (a.k.a. "Dr. Z" or "Dr. Michelle"), and I am a Licensed Psychologist. I received my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from UNLV and spent significant time working with Neurodiverse populations. While I have previously provided therapy to clients of all ages, I am not currently taking any new therapy clients at this time.
