Hello, my name is Kristina Millian. I am an LCSW-C, with more than 30 years of experience supporting wellness and growth with Pre-Adolescents, Adolescents, Young Adults, as well as Families, Parents, and Individual Adults. It is my passion to inspire hope and change while supporting clients who may be feeling stuck, confused by challenging emotions, or tired of unhealthy habits. Other individuals may be seeking more personal happiness, confidence, or a life purpose. Therapy offers practical solutions. Together we will explore, discover, and transform your experience to match your authentic potential.
In therapy you will gain the specific tools you need to access infinite wellness and happiness. The safety of a supportive therapeutic relationship can allow for courageous “self-study”. With understanding self comes clarity, and relief, which in turn creates the opportunity to cultivate new healthy ways to think, feel, and react.
In addition to Mindfulness Based Cognitive talk therapy (MCBT), I use mindfulness exercises, as well as Neuro Linguistic Programming, (NLP), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) tools to assist supportive communication and relationship between mind, body, spirit, and emotions. Currently accepting new individuals for Tele-Therapy in the state of Maryland.
