Hello, thank you for viewing my profile. I will help you cope more effectively with anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, eating disorders, and feelings related to past childhood trauma. My clients describe me as very compassionate, easy to talk to and able to provide just the right kind of intervention and insight that allows them to feel better and make profound changes in their lives. I enjoy working with adults and couples of all ages, cultural backgrounds and genders. I have more than 25 years of experience including inpatient and outpatient work, short-term and longer-term therapy, and the practice of psychoanalysis.
I will work together with you to figure out in a safe therapeutic setting what prevents you from feeling good about yourself, your work and your relationships and what internal conflicts may need to be addressed so you can feel better. I have presented and published articles and essays on eating disorders, trauma, and other psychological topics.
I am a part-time Lecturer in Psychology (Psychiatry) at the Cambridge Health Alliance (Harvard Medical School). I am a Training and Supervising Analyst, Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I especially welcome patients who are interested in understanding themselves in a deeper way. Currently I am not accepting new clients.
