As a Perinatal Mental Health Certified Therapist, I am dedicated to helping women navigate the challenges of women’s mental health and reproductive mental health. Becoming and being a parent can come with challenges. Between infertility, pregnancy loss, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, traumatic births, and other isolating challenges, knowing when to reach out for support can be difficult but crucial. Finding time for yourself to share your struggles with a supportive, well-trained clinician can be a gift to yourself and your partner. Additionally, I work with adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, school issues.
I have 15+ years experience working in schools, home and the private practice setting. Part of my work with women is connecting them with resources in their community. It takes a "village" to raise a child, but not everyone has a "village" accessible to them. It is helpful to be aware of the community supports available to you!
With an authentic, genuine, kind, relatable, and encouraging approach, I create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their emotions and develop healthy coping strategies.
