The perinatal period is hard. 1 in 5 birthing parents experience PMADs. You, are not alone and with help you can get better. Whether, you are struggling with perinatal mental health concerns, parenting, depression, anxiety, trauma, TTC, TFMR or loss and any other of the adversity that emerges across the life span, healing is not out of your reach. You are ready for a proactive approach and want to make positive change. With connection and trust we will use a combination of skill building, motivational enhancement and personal exploration to calm crisis, and increase coping.
We will have compassionate and deliberate conversations which will cultivate wellness, authenticity and whole-hearted living. My advanced training has centered around perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and bereavement. We will weave coping skills for current distress with exploration of underling vulnerability for that distress.
Wounds and burdens from childhood adversity and the struggles of life cast shadows and negative belifes onto our lives today. These shadows impact parenting, relationships, work, creativity and wellbeing. Trauma and pain rob us of inner peace and connection with friends and loved ones. Shame can keep us hidden and isolated.
