Dr. Talha Khan is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults. His approach to therapy is both compassionate and collaborative and draws from psychodynamic, relational, and evidence based approaches to help navigate through trauma, relational difficulties, grief, anxiety, depression, substance use, and feelings of alienation and isolation. Dr Khan emphasizes an anticolonial approach informed by Liberation Psychology to try to better understand and treat patients who are suffering from the many forms of systemic oppression and social injustice.
Together, patients will utilize the therapy space as a site to engage in deeper self-exploration, create hope and meaning, and develop new ways to confront, actively resist, and heal from the various sources of one's stress and suffering.
Dr. Khan prioritizes the understanding, non-judgment. and warmth necessary to create a welcoming atmosphere for therapy and healing. Please feel free to call to and determine if this is the right fit for you or if you have any questions or concerns.
