For over 15 years, I have helped children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families cope with life's adversities, changes and significant events that can have a lasting emotional impact. This includes school issues, peer conflict/bullying, low self esteem, grief/loss, relational and family conflict, divorce, parenting and co-parenting, coping with illnesses, abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors and more. I truly believe that given the right type of treatment at a young age a person can overcome adversities and prevent long term negative effects.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I utilize integrative, creative and holistic treatment to engage clients. I provide parental support/coaching throughout the treatment process. I aim to provide a safe environment for young clients to receive genuine and purposeful guidance towards healing, coping, personal growth and empowerment.
In my years of serving students in schools and various settings, I have had the privilege of witnessing many young people overcome challenges, cope with life's uncontrollable events and rise to their fullest potential. I look forward to assisting you in your journey. Counseling sessions are available on Saturdays and in Spanish if needed.
