I am passionate about the art of therapy – co-creating a unique therapeutic space that makes each client feel safe, heard and emotionally held so that they can embark on a journey of self-discovery, insight, and authentic empowerment. Art therapy is a powerful tool for self-expression a helpful way of working with whatever is going on that is making us stuck, unhappy, angry including experiences of grief, depression, inadequacy, fear, loneliness, addiction, and conflict.. Art therapy can lead you to unexpected insights, enable you to access your inner world and facilitate a meaningful exploration of difficult experiences.

Please note, that many but not all medical aids will pay for art therapy. Please check with your medical aid. Unfortunately GEMS does not currently pay. I am not contracted in to any medial aids so you would need to pay me and then claim your payment back from them.

I have 15 years experience of working as an art therapist in various settings. I also have a coaching training which enables me to bring a different perspective in some situations. My qualification to work as a Guided Imagery and Music therapist is almost complete.

I offer Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) journeys, which is a safe way to have transpersonal experiences. I also hold awareness of systemic issues which affect the individual psyche.
