I’m a Sheet Snob, but This On-Sale Cooling Set Is Softer Than My Pricier Picks

They feel like the cool side of a pillow.

I don’t sleep well unless my bedroom is freezing cold, but since moving into my alcove studio—which has the sleeping nook tucked in the back next to a fire-hot steam riser—I’ve struggled to keep my space comfortable.

Even after investing in a high-power fan and setting my air conditioning on blast, my bedroom climate was still a little warm for my liking. Luckily (and surprisingly), new sheets became my saving grace.

I finally started catching better Zs after swapping out an older—albeit pricier—design in exchange for Buffy’s on-sale sheets set, which includes a crisp and clean white fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. The switch was an immediate upgrade thanks to the sheet’s softer-than-cotton feel and cooling design that feels like you’re sleeping on the cold side of a pillow all the time.

The material itself is buttery-soft and crafted from eucalyptus (lyocell), which is not only more breathable but transports moisture faster than cotton and linen, so I sweat less and stay dry throughout the night. As a historically hot sleeper, I immediately noticed a difference after adding the Buffy sheets to my bed. I no longer found myself tossing away the covers in the middle of the night or cranking up the fan.

And while the sheet set weighs an incredibly light 120 grams per square meter, per the brand, they offer tear strength and pilling resistance that keeps them fresh for longer. According to a third-party researcher who tested the sheets, they can withstand 255+ washes over seven years, which is a long lifespan for sheets.

Shoppers raved about the “soft, buttery, light, and airy” material, with one saying that they’re the “most comfortable” sheets they’ve ever owned. Another customer added that they no longer get “wrapped” in their sheets when they toss and turn in the night, while a third person praised their cooling technology that regulates their “furnace” of a fiancé’s temperature.

The breeze sheets aren’t the only Buffy bedding I swear by either. The Breeze Duvet Cover has similar benefits—it’s equally soft and cooling to the touch. It feels lightweight on my bed but still offers the right amount of warmth in winter.

If you’re looking to upgrade your bed, head over to Buffy’s site to score the breeze sheets and duvet sets that will change the way you sleep.
