The Marriage of Figaro

It’s Figaro’s wedding, and you’re invited to join the Almaviva household for an uproarious day of revelation and scandal.

Early closure 17th August 2024

The Royal Opera House, including our shop, café and restaurants will be closed from 7pm on Saturday 17th August for maintenance. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Opera singer Pretty Yende is photographed as Semele, a character in the opera of the same name. Semele gazes up at an unseen person who casts a looming shadow over her.
