If those three April starts are anything to go by, Max Meyer is about to make a big splash in Miami. Drafted third overall by the Marlins in 2020, Meyer has been lighting it up at Triple-A Jacksonville. With a cool 1.80 ERA and 14 strikeouts over his last three games (15 innings), his WHIP of 0.82 is just the cherry on top of his dominant performance.
Meyer’s season stats in Triple-A aren’t too shabby either. He’s logged a 4.89 ERA over 49.2 innings, racking up 56 strikeouts. The numbers reflect his stamina and strikeout potential, suggesting he’s more than ready for the big leagues.
