Joshua Katzman Chicago Reader While The Last Seduction isn’t anywhere near the complex and disturbing masterpiece that Chinatown is, it does contain more social commentary than has generally been ascribed to it. Rated: 3/4 Jun 6, 2022 Full Review Lisa Schwarzbaum Entertainment Weekly Rated: B+ Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Desson Thomson Washington Post The movie is a spirited attempt at modern film noir, and huge parts of it are enjoyable. Steve D It was all too unpleasant for me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/14/23 Full Review pierce k The movie was incredible and i loved the acting. But the one problem about this film is the theme song they play in my opinion i don't think that's a good theme song for erotic thriller. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review S M Raisul I The definition of a Femme Fatale and boy she's fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review michael d A top erotic 90s contender. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Victoria S Stupid movie. Like one reviewer said probably should have watched this back in ‘94, it might have seemed good to me. If I was a guy, I'd be annoyed with how stupid, men were portrayed in this movie. Totally unrealistic gullible idiots. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review Audience Member Based on it's description alone, this is not the type of film I'd usually choose to watch and review. However, having recently viewed Red Rock West for the first time and seeing that this was done by the same director with similar reviews from both critics and audiences, I decided to check it out. Similar to the aforementioned, everything plays loosely in it's roles and places but the plot is less engaging. The femme fatale herein is not as likeable as many other femme fatales, I really don't know exactly what she is trying to do for much of the movie.
