Is the cost of my membership increasing?
No. We are just making it easier for our members to shop the club conveniently, with access to Curbside Pickup, Same-Day Delivery and shipping with more value.
Why do I need to reach a cart minimum?
By adding a cart minimum, we are increasing access to different ways of shopping for our members. This will make it easier for you to get the products you want, the way and at the time you want.
- For Club members:
- Curbside Pickup will be free when you spend a minimum of $50 per eligible order instead of our historical flat $4 fee.
- For Plus members:
- Will now get free Same-Day Delivery and free shipping on qualifying orders of $50 or more, giving you faster access to our in-club assortment.
If I do not meet the minimum spending requirements, what happens?
It’s okay if you do not meet the minimum spending requirements. In that case, the below fees will apply:
- For Club members:
- $4 fee for Curbside Pickup on eligible items when you spend less than $50 per order.
- For Plus members:
- $8 flat rate fee for shipping on eligible items when you spend less than $50 per order. Some category exclusions apply whereby variable shipping will be charged.
- $8 fee for Same-Day Delivery for eligible orders less than $50.
Does tax count towards the minimum spending requirement?
The $50 minimum spend requirement is pre-tax, so your basket order will need to be $50 of eligible items before taxes are applied to qualify.
What is Curbside Pickup vs. Same-Day Delivery?
Curbside Pickup: Order your eligible items online or in the app, come to the club and park your car in a designated spot. We’ll load the car for you. It’s always free on eligible items for Plus members. $4 fee per eligible order applies for Club members. Starting Aug. 19, Club members will be able to get free Curbside Pickup on eligible orders of $50 or more.
Same-Day Delivery: Order online or in the app and get eligible items delivered to your door the same day. Same-Day Delivery orders must be placed by 1pm local time subject to slot availability. Plus members will no longer need to pay the $8 fee on eligible basket orders over $50 starting Aug 19.
Is Same-Day Delivery available in my area?
We currently provide Same-Day Delivery to most residences that are within a 15-mile radius of a Sam’s Club. We are working to expand our delivery radius, so continue to check back for more. You may check whether your address is eligible for Same-Day Delivery here.
Is same-day Curbside Pickup available?
Yes, but it is subject to slot availability, and eligible orders must be placed by 1pm local time. You can check available slots online or in the app.
Where can SamsClub.com orders be shipped?
SamsClub.com currently ships eligible items to 49 states (Alaska excluded). Some items may have restrictions that prevent shipment to Hawaii or California.
We do not ship to Alaska, U.S. territories (i.e. Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, etc.) Canada or Mexico post office boxes.
What is variable shipping?
Variable shipping for certain eligible online items means your overall shipping cost will be calculated based on various factors such as the item size, weight and shipping address, etc.
How long will an order take to ship to my home?
The total shipping time for your order is primarily determined by two factors: processing and shipping.
Processing is the time between submitting your eligible order and when the item(s) leaves the warehouse or fulfillment center. For most items, processing time is done electronically and usually completed within 1–2 business days for small parcels and 1–7 days for larger eligible items that ship Freight.
Shipping time begins when the item(s) leaves the warehouse or fulfillment center to when it arrives at the member-selected delivery destination.
Why should I upgrade to Plus?
Plus members get more perks:

How will the changes affect my Plus membership?
The primary change is now you will get free Same-Day Delivery on eligible items when you spend $50 or more per eligible order. And free shipping on eligible online items when you spend $50 or more per eligible order. Otherwise, a $8 fee will apply to both shipping and Same-Day Delivery on eligible orders. Some category exclusions apply to shipping whereby variable shipping will be charged.
