Greatest actor competition

The Godfather, Scarface, Heat, Scent of a Woman and many others are all famous movies because of his talent. Actor, director, screenwriter and producer, he certainly is certainly one of the greatest names in the history of the American film industry. Of course, I am referring to Alfredo James Pacino, or Al Pacino as he is best known as and I firmly believe him to be the greatest actor ever. In the 60s, he was considered just a short man with no talent, but time proved that he is capable of extraordinary things: he played various characters, from mobsters, including Michael Corleone in The Godfather trilogy and Tony Montana in Scarface, to characters on the opposite side of the law as a police officer, a detective and a lawyer. But it was his impeccable performance as Frank Slade, a blind, retired Lt. Colonel in Scent of a Woman that won him the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1992 after receiving seven previous Oscar nominations. Pacino has been nominated and has won many awards during his acting career, including eight Oscar nominations (winning one), 15 Golden Globe nominations (winning four), five BAFTA nominations (winning two), two Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on television,
and two Tony Awards for his work on the stage. In 2007, the American Film Institute awarded Pacino with a lifetime achievement award. He is without any doubt, a living legend. But its not just prizes and awards that speak for himself. He is also a very popular character. In 2003 Britishtelevision viewers voted Pacino as the greatest film star of all time in a poll for Channel 4. For all, these reasons, I strongly believe that any documentary concerning great actors would not be complete without Al Pacino included. The talent, personal charm and with the risk of sounding cheesy the fascination he exhibits, he certainly is a giant in the film industry.
