    Mitchell Research & Communications, Inc. conducted a survey of likely voters in the Democratic
    Primary for Michigans 14
    th
    Congressional District July 28-29, 2014 to determine who was leading in the race
    as well as what messages might resonate with voters.

    Results of the survey show Rudy Hobbs with 38%, Hansen Clarke with 25%, Brenda Lawrence with
    22%, and Burgess Foster with 2%. Hobbs is clearly in a strong position to win the Primary Election on August

    The survey also showed voters in this campaign prefer a young energetic leader as opposed to a former
    member of congress and an experienced Mayor (33% to 26% to 19%).

    I have provided you with a complete analysis of all the cross tabulations for the survey. But to reiterate,
    with a 13% lead over his nearest competitor and a 16% lead over the second-nearest competitor, Hobbs is in a
    strong position to win the Primary Election next Tuesday.
