The Cincinnati Police Department arrested Deasia Watkins, 20, and charged her with aggravated murder for the death of her 3-month old daughter. Police responded to a residence on Waldway Lane on March 16th and found the infant deceased inside. The homicide unit and coroner's office are continuing their investigation into the incident.

Homicide Unit Investigation
On March 16, 2015, 0600 hours, Cincinnati Police District Five police officers responded to the 5900 block of Waldway Lane (College Hill) for a reported deceased infant. Upon arrival officers located a 3 month old female deceased inside a residence. The Cincinnati Police Departments Homicide Unit has arrested and charged the infants mother, DEASIA WATKINS, 20 years of age, with Aggravated Murder for the death of her child. Investigation by the Homicide Unit and the Hamilton County Coroners Office is on-going.
