    There was once a kind king who ruled a prosperous kingdom, but he and his queen were sad because they had no children. An old man suggested they adopt a child, but they refused. The queen prayed and eventually became pregnant, giving birth to a beautiful princess. The princess grew up spoiled and cruel, rejecting a beautiful necklace gifted to her by the people on her birthday. Ashamed, the earth opened up and a lake formed, drowning the kingdom as punishment for the princess's actions. Now the lake is known as Telaga Warna and is filled with beautiful colors.

    lakeisfullofcolour.Sobeautifulandamazing.Thesecolorscomefromshadowsofforest,plants,flowers,
    and sky around the lake. But some people said that the colours are from the princesss necklace, which
    spreadsatthebottomofthelake.
