Indian Oil Corporation Limited is the largest commercial undertaking and India’s No.1 Company in Fortune magazine’s prestigious listing of the world’s 500
largest corporations, ranked 116 for the year 2008. Indian Oil’s Panipat Refinery is the most modern public sector Refinery equipped with state-of-the-art
technology. Panipat Refinery has recently commissioned two projects, viz. Panipat Refinery Expansion Project for doubling its capacity from 6 to 12
MMTPA and integrated Paraxylene and PTA project having capacity of 553 thousand tons per annum of PTA .
Applications are invited from bright, young and energetic persons of Indian Nationality for the following posts in the pay scale of Rs.5400-10850/-
(due for revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007):

Eligibility criteria and other details
Qualification and Experience: The prescribed qualification from recognized Indian University / Institute as a regular student and the required minimum
post qualification experience for each post is given below:

Jr. Engg. Asstt.-IV 3 years Diploma in Mechanical For Diploma Holders, minimum two years experience in maintenance of

equipments such as Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Columns Vessels, Piping,
Valves and tanks etc. in a Petroleum/ Petrochemical / Fertilizer companies
and large thermal power plants. Candidates with knowledge of condition
monitoring will have added advantage.
3 yrs. Diploma in Chemical/ Minimum Two years experience in operation (in rotating shift) of Pump

Petrochemical Engg. /Tech or B.Sc. with House, Fired Heater, Compressor, Distillation Column, Reactor, Heat
(Prodn.)
