ABOUT BONDERMAN
Making his second start this season and 208th appearance (195th start) in his career.
Selected in the first round of the June 2001 (26th
overall) draft by Oaklandis the only high school junior ever to be drafted with a first round pick in baseball history.
Traded by Oakland to Detroit on Aug. 22, 2002 as the PTBNL in the
July 6 trade between the 2 clubs.
Earned a spot in the Tigers rotation during Spring Traning after pitching at Single-A level in his only other professional experience.
Made quick rise to the Major Leagues, making only 27 minor league
appearances before arriving in the Majors.
