Post-Game Quotes
CUBS MANAGER DALE SVEUM: It looked easy for a while Yeah, it was real easy for a while, obviously, but we all know that its why we play 9 innings. What did you think of Jackson? Not real sharp, but at least he came with some velocity today. I think his slider was pretty good. I think he was a little bit effectively wild, misfires helped him out a little bit, swinging down below the zone. He did keep the ball down. Obviously, a lot of them were too far down. He did what we wanted him to do today, 6 innings, gave up 3. It was nice to swing the bats real well. I think we had 6 doubles in the first 4 innings. [We] didnt do a lot after that. In that kind of game with the bullpen the way it was, that was a huge day to score 7 runs on the road.
