Notes on Usage Adjectives can be used in a number of ways. Primarily they follow the noun they describe, matching it in case, number and gender, for example : big man living animals of the old woman Altenatively, an adjective may be attatched to the beginning on the noun it describes, usually for emphasis : senowiros old man great god young woman
An adjective can also stand as a noun in its own right : riyos marwos free man (singular masculine) great woman (singular feminine) or great things (plural neuter) dead man, corpse (singular masculine)
