Dear Dean Lauzon and Rev. Fr. Baloaloa: The UST College of Commerce Commission on Elections (COMELEC) a recognized student organization in the University of Santo Tomas. The UST COMELEC Commerce Unit will fulfill its obligation of promoting awareness and liberality in choosing our future leaders for the student council by conducting a debate entitled Freedom and Truth: CBA Student Leaders Debate 2013. This not only gives the student body a chance to hear the opinions and ideas of its future leaders but it gives the political parties a chance to answer questions of the student body, With this proposal, the UST COMELEC Commerce Unit, is hoping for your support in our said activity. Project Proposal
I. PROJECT TITLE: Freedom and Truth: CBA Student Leaders Debate 2013 II. PROJECT THEME: III. PROJECT ADVOCATE: College of Commerce Commission on Elections IV. PROJECT RATIONALE:
This project seeks to provide students with an opportunity to learn more about the political parties and their selected representatives agenda. It also seeks to give a chance to the prospective student leaders in promoting their plans. With that being said, this project will provide a civilized platform for all the students to politically interact for the future of the College of Commerce.

V. PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
a. To allow the Commerce student body to be knowledgeable about their future student leaders b. To allow political parties to promote their prospective leaders and agendas to the student body

VI. PROJECT DESCRIPTION/ DURATION: February 5, 8am to 11:30am at the Plaza Mayor. VII. TARGET BENEFICIARIES: Commerce Students and Approved Political Parties

VIII. MONITORING:
The Local Commissioners of the COMELEC Commerce Unit will be at the forefront in implementing peace and order during Freedom and Truth: CBA Student

Leaders Debate 2013. Deputies of the local COMELEC will be utilized as well, in monitoring the project. After the event, the UST- COMLEC members will be in charge of clearing the area. This undertaking will also be closely monitored by the Local Commissioners
of the COMELEC Commerce Unit.
