Aurora, Colo. Investigators are asking for the publics assistance in locating a possible witness or witnesses to the Rackem Billiards and Sports Bar homicide. On December 24th at approximately 10:30 p.m. a vehicle was seen driving past the bar on East Jewell Avenue. Investigators would like to locate and speak with the occupants of that vehicle. Anyone with information about this vehicle or this case are asked to call Agent Mark Yacano at (303) 739-6090 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-STOP. You may also text your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) then use the title DMCS and enter your message. You may remain anonymous. A reward of up to $4,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) by the Aurora Police Department Reward Fund and Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. ####
Aurora, Colo. Aurora Police are investigating a shooting from late last night that has left one man dead.

At about 10:45 p.m., police received a call of a shooting at the Rackem Billiards and Sports Bar located at 1919 S. Havana St. When officers arrived, they found an adult male in the parking lot suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Officers first to arrive were told there was an altercation in the parking lot of the bar involving a few individuals. The altercation carried over into the street and witnesses reported hearing several gunshots. The victim then came walking back towards the parking where he collapsed. The Aurora Police Major Crime/Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigators were called out to the scene and took over the investigation. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroners Office once the autopsy is completed.

Police believe there may be more witnesses who have not been contacted yet. Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information on this case to please call Detective Mark Yacano at (303)739-6090.
