Hypersensitivity or known intolerance to corticosteroids,
Suppresses normal immune response and untreated bacterial or viral infections. Caution in hepatic
inflammation. dysfunction; or patients with pre-existing skin atrophy.

Common side effects:


Pruritis
Derm: allergic contact dermatitis, atrophy, burning, edema.
Misc: adrenal suppression with long term use.

Interactions with other patient drugs, OTC or Lab value alterations caused by medicine:
herbal medicines (ask patient specifically):
May affect adrenal function tests in long term use. May
None significant. increase serum and urine glucose.
