to host the conference, and our neighborhood has been chosen to participate in
Oscar Alvarez the “Neighborhood Pride Tours”. This will be a very exciting event for both

Be sure to check out our revised website. You won’t recognize it if you
have been there recently. It’s a great tool for keeping up with what’s going on

Pool Corner
ELIZABETH LAKE It’s that time of year again… to begin thinking about joining the pool for the
ESTATES CIVIC season. We had a successful summer last year and are looking forward to
ASSOCIATION making this year the best ever. As we continue to improve our pool I hope you
will invite your friends and family to join as well. Membership is open to
everyone. We are making changes this year based on member feedback and
comments, to include expanded hours, alternating use of pools during low
attendance hours, and keeping the concession stand open during peak hours. We
ELECA are planning several introductory days at no cost to encourage people in the
PO Box 1726 community to try the pool. We’re implementing new picture ID cards, so be
Hampton, VA 23669 sure to provide a picture with your application. Douglas Aquatics has done a
great job and will continue to staff the pool. We have a great pool, but in order
to maintain it we must continue to increase our membership. Please remember
that the pool has a member and guest only policy. Guest privileges are limited to
individuals who do not live in the neighborhood. Elizabeth Lake residents are
