Important Information
Baggage:
1. Cabin Baggage Allowance: One piece of cabin baggage of maximum 7 Kg for domestic travel (maximum 115 cm (L+W+H) in overall dimensions) and 7 Kg for international travel is allowed per passenger in addition to 1
ladies handbag/standard sized laptop bag. In addition, on Boeing flights upto 3 Kg of DutyFree purchases allowed for international departing passenger provided the items are purchased in the DutyFree shops of the departing
airport. Passengers with infants are allowed an additional piece of hand baggage of maximum 7 Kg not exceeding the size dimensions. No cabin baggage is allowed on flights originating from Jammu or Srinagar
airports.
2. Checked-in Baggage Allowance: For domestic travel, SpiceJet allows free baggage allowance of 15 Kg (22 Kg in case passenger is travelling from Jammu or Srinagar) per passenger as checked-in baggage. In case
of international travel, free baggage allowance of 20 Kg (30 Kg in case passenger is travelling to Colombo, Kabul and from Sharjah, Colombo, Dubai, Kabul, Muscat) is allowed. In case of interline travel (i.e., travel on the
services of more than one carrier) free baggage allowance of only15 Kg is allowed on both the airlines.
3. For passengers travelling on SpiceJet domestic sector to SpiceJet international sector or vice versa, the free baggage allowance and cabin baggage allowance of International sector will be applicable. Passengers travelling
on a SpiceJet domestic sector and connecting to/from an international destination on anyother airline will be allowed free baggage allowance the same as as permitted byother airline up to a maximum of
23 Kg (30 Kg for bookings done prior to April 16, 2014). This allowance is subject to the free baggage allowance being (a) reflected on the itineraryof other airline; and (b) applicable onlyfor adult/child bookings. Infant
bookings do not qualifyfor this allowance.
Check-In:
4. Check-in counters open 2 hours (3 hours incase of international travel) prior to scheduled departure time. Please obtain your boarding card from check-in counters at least 45 minutes (75 minutes incase of international
travel) prior to the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so can result in your booking being cancelled and the fare retained.Web check-in facilityis available on www.spicejet.com, for all flights originating from India only, but
is not available for Group Bookings, Defense Bookings, Student Bookings, Infant Bookings, Interline Bookings and flights originating from Srinagar, Jammu.
5. Boarding gate closes 20 minutes (45 minutes in case of Kabul and 25 minutes in case of other international travel) prior to scheduled departure time and failure to board within the stipulated time can result in denied
boarding with fare retained.
Payment by foreign credit cards:
6. For all foreign (Non-Indian) credit / debit card payments, the card must be produced for physical verification at the airport check-in counter if the passenger is the cardholder. Incase the cardholder is not traveling, it is mandatory
for the passenger to furnish to the airport check-in staff a physical copyof the front side of credit / debit card dulyauthorized bythe cardholder, along with cardholders valid proof of identification. In the absence of such credit /
debit card or copyand/or identitymismatch, we will be constrained to refuse the boarding. You mayhowever paythrough acceptable alternate mode of payment at the time of check-in and continue your journey.
Cancellations and Rescheduling Initiated by Passengers:
7. Changes/cancellation in the bookings can be made onlyup to 1 hour prior to scheduled departure time (3 hours incase of international travel) upon payment of a change/cancellation fee (amount depends on the type of fare
purchased, as advised at the time of booking) along with difference in fare, if applicable.
8. Changes/cancellation for Interline travel bookings can be made onlyup to 3 hours prior to scheduled departure time upon payment of INR 4,600 per passenger per change for each wayof travel along with
difference in fare, if anyapplicable.
Passenger Handling during Flight Delays, Cancellations, and Missed Connections:
9. SpiceJet does not connect to other carriers; therefore, SpiceJet is not responsible for anylosses incurred bythe passengers while trying to connect to or from other carriers. SpiceJet will not be liable in anywayfor delays/
cancellations/ diversions whether due to bad weather, government regulation or for instances beyond SpiceJet' s control. SpiceJet reserves the right, without assigning anyreason, to cancel or delaythe commencement or
continuance of the flight or to alter the stopping place or to deviate from the route of the journeyor to change the type of aircraft in use without therebyincurring anyliabilityin damages or otherwise to the passenger or anyother
person on anyground whatsoever. SpiceJet also reserves to itself the right to refuse to carryanyperson whom it considers unfit to travel or who in the opinion of SpiceJet mayconstitute risks to the aircraft or to the Customers on
board. For denied boarding, delays and cancellation the Civil Aviation Requirements under section 3 - Air Transport, Series ' M' Part IV, Issue I, dated August 6, 2010 shall be applicable. Please refer to the Terms of Carriage at

conditions.
Additional Terms and Conditions
10. All passengers are required to carryvalid proof of identification, including for children and infants. For all international flights, onlyacceptable proof of identification will be passport which must be valid for at least 6
months from the date of travel. Indian nationals travelling to and from Nepal are required to carryeither Passport or Voter' s ID card onlyas proof of identification. For children and infants, Birth Certificate or School ID Card (as
maybe applicable) will be accepted as proof of identification
11. Excess baggage charges will be payable for carriage of baggage over the free baggage allowance limits. Excess baggage can also be pre-booked (at discounted rates) up to 12 hours prior to scheduled departure time of the
flight on www.spicejet.com, bycalling at our Sales and Reservations Centre from outside India : +91 987 180 3333, +91 965 400 3333, from within India : 0 987 180 3333, 0 965 400 3333 or at our airport ticketing counters.
12. Revised Free Excess Baggage and Excess Baggage Charges for international sector(s) is applicable on booking made on or after 10thJuly, 2014.
13. We stronglyrecommend that all valuables (e.g. camera, jewellery, cash, electronics, perishables items, etc.) and medication shall be carried in cabin baggage only. SpiceJet assumes no responsibilityfor anypilferage/ damage
to valuables incase theyare carried in check-in baggage and the passenger shall be doing so at their sole riskand consequences.
14. Passengers travelling to UAE/Oman from India for employment/tourist purposes shall be requiring an OK TO BOARD comment in the PNR. Kindlyget in touch with your visa issuing agencyfor the same.
15. All Foreign Nationals/ Non-Resident Indians are mandatorilyrequired to carrytheir Passport with valid visa for their travel.
