Advantages of Investment in Solar Farms

in Thailand

What is a solar farm?

A solar farm is a large electrical power generation plant that uses
solar energy as energy source. In Thailand, the ministry of energy
has a promotion program in which a solar farm can sell electricity
to utilities (MEA, PEA, EGAT) at a special tariff.
Tariff Price of Solar Farm in Thailand:
About 11 Baht/kWh = Normal Tariff + Adder
where
normal Tariff = about 3.3 Baht/kWh with annual increase rate
(no limitation of Years),
adder
=8.0 Baht/kWh for 10 Years

Advantages of Investment in Solar Farms

signed between solar farm and MEA, PEA, EGAT.
7. Buyer is MEA, PEA, EGAT., and ministry of energy with high price.
8. Least risk. Solar modules have long lifetime more than 30 years,
normally warranty 20-25 years.
9. Welcomed by local people. No pollution. Environmental friendly
