Synopsis: The department deals with the analysis of personal loans (credit cards, secured and

unsecured loans) and subsequent administration or restructuring of the accounts.

1)

Manage a team of 15-20 credit analysts (March 2012 October 2014)


Scope: coordinating the activity of secured and unsecured loan analysis team.
- Responsible for development of the team
- Training of team member.
-Monitoring compliance of team members in meeting their job objectives
-Organizing and leading team meetings
-Work in partnership with other functions to ensure the smooth transition of
activities/processes
-Streamline processes/procedures across CAs.
-Understanding new policies and ensuring dissemination of information to CA team
members - if required, explaining the implications and outlining procedures to ensure
compliance.

2)

Implement Lean methodology and culture within the Loan Analysis Department (March
2012 October 2014):
Scope: 100+ employees, 3 main processes, 2 IT systems, 5 document sharing platforms
Involvement: from diagnostic until continuous improvement, responsible for:
- Process redesign with the target of cost-saving;
- Proper execution and implementation of the Lean methodology with a great focus on
instilling the continuous improvement philosophy and culture within the department;
- Coaching the employees of the department on how to correctly use the Lean tools to
simplify their activities, to track and to effectively address performance, to better
collaborate with their internal partners and to slowly but surely adopt a continuous
improvement mindset by understanding that even the smallest ideas can bring an
important impact in customer and employee satisfaction;
- Communication to all hierarchical levels about the progress of the transformation.

Main achievements: large savings in yearly costs by eliminating printing from activity;
reduced processing times by 40% on average; decreased rework and error rates by more
than 50%.

3) Project manager role/ stream leader for the Greenfield build up of the Operations Center in
Brasov relocation of Loan Analysis Department processes from Bucharest (Dec 2011 May
2013):
Scope: 200+ employees in Bucharest, 100+ employees in Brasov, 10+ main processes,
2+ IT systems, 5+ document sharing platforms
Involvement:
- Movement strategy setup (what, how, when, where, red flags)
- Negotiation with business owners regarding prerequisites, KPIs for the processes to be
moved, the number of FTEs to be hired in Brasov, the release/ reinvestment schedule
for employees in Bucharest and the overlap needed, the number of key transfer people
involved
- Follow-up with all members of relocation project team ( Project Management, IT,
Logistics, Business lines, Organization, HR) on their tasks
Main achievements: relocation completed in 4 waves, during 15 months.
Group Coordinator November 2011 March 2012

-Performing daily and monthly reports requested by the management
-Implementing and daily applying of Lean Management tools.
-Monthly, quarterly and annual assessment of the subordinate employees.
-Providing support to team members regarding procedures, norms and regulations.
Main achievements: I had two different roles within the organization, being also the
deputy of the Operations Manager. I was promoted due to exceptional results and I
was entrusted to work on special projects of Department.

-Analysis of customers loan request;
-Ensure credit decisions are in line with mitigating risks, maintaining quality and

Main achievements: my colleagues accepted me as a functional leader as they realized


my value-add, even though I was the newest member of the team. I became very
quickly backup for the group coordinator.

Responsabilities:
-Direct interaction with customers, open and administrate their accounts, analyse
and administrate loans (with retail segment focus) and ensure information on Alpha Bank
products and services;

analyse and manage applications for card issuance, do cash deposits and withdrawals
transactions in local and foreign currencies as well as express money transfers
operations.
Main achievements: I was complimented by HR Manager for coming up with an idea of
centralization of loans analysis system and I reorganized the archives of the agency to
make it easier to work with.
