Fuse Link For Drop Out Gunkul
Fuse Link For Drop Out Gunkul
Drop Out
To protect over current pass through the electric circuit, one of the solutions is to use universal
fuse link to work associated with drop fuse cutout, its principle is to melt and disconnect the circuit when
quite high current pass through the fuse link. The heat from the expulsion of fusible element will burn the
fiber liner in the fuse holder to generate gas to distinguish the arc and keep pressure inside insufficiently
to explode. Normally, there will be two types which are solid button head and removable button head,
some fuse cutout is designed to increase interrupting capacity by using arc-shortening rod with removable
button head fuse link type.
APPLICATION
Universal fuse links are deployed in all kinds of industry, worldwide.
Utilities: electricity production and distribution
Industries: electrical service or maintenance
Buildings: electrical service or maintenance
Laboratories: electrical equipment testing
FEATURE
GK Type K and Type T universal fuse links are made in accordance with ANSI/NEMA standards. GK fuse
links are designed to carry 150% of their continuous current rating without damage to the fuse link itself
or the cutout fuse-holder in which they are installed. This capacity is for special loading situations such as
short-time overloads and cold-load pick-up. All GK fuse links are precision manufactured and all materials
are under control during manufacture to guarantee their quality. The GK fuse links are made for used with
Fuse Cutout for protection medium voltage equipment.
PRODUCT DETAIL
Type K fuse links provide fast time-current characteristics.
Type T fuse links provide slower time-current characteristics than the Type K.
GK Type K and Type T fuse links are available with a standard removable button head or optional solid
button head. Overall length of fuse links shall be 26 inches (approximate 660 mm) for rating voltage 27 kV
and 30 inches (approximate 760 mm) for rating voltage 38 kV. Other lengths are also available upon
request.
