Wismar ny Sotes haope March 14, 2016 To Whom It May Concern, Michele Morgan has been a student teacher in my classroom for the last seven weeks. While in my classroom, Michele has had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of twenty-one students. During her time here, Michele has been responsible for planning and implementing lessons for reading, math, language arts, social studies, and science. Along with creating lessons, Michele has had the responsibility of creating daily language arts centers, homework, weekly quizzes/tests, unit tests, and a plants unit in science. Michele has successfully demonstrated her awareness of different learning styles and has adequately adjusted assignments to meet the various needs of students. Her lessons were thoroughly prepared and presented. Michele was also successful in monitoring and adjusting to various schedule changes in order to complete lessons during her time of teaching. ‘Throughout Michele's teaching experience she has done a phenomenal job creating lessons that pique student interest and get them involved in the lesson/activity. Michele was able to use students’ prior knowledge to relate from one subject to another. As a fellow teacher, Michele participated in our Professional Learning Communities. At our regular team meetings, Michele contributed to our professional development, student data analysis, and remediation/enrichment opportunity planning, Michele possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality. She has developed a great rapport with students and staff here at Stanwood Elementary. She is well dressed, articulate, and always prepared for the day ahead. It is clear that Michele has an obvious love and desire to teach. am confident that Ms. Michele Morgan would be an asset to any staff she has the opportunity to work with. She is confident, knowledgeable, and has the skills of a seasoned teacher. | believe Michele will continue to grow as she gains more experience with further teaching opportunities.
