MOTION TO CONSOLIDATE
NOW COMES ***, Defendant in the above entitled and numbered cause, by and through

Defendant herein stands charged under separate charging instruments with multiple offenses which
arose as a result of the same criminal episode. In Cause No. ____________, the Defendant is

Pursuant to Section 3.02 of the Texas Penal Code, Defendant would request, for purposes of
judicial efficiency, a consolidation of the multiple offenses into a single prosecution. Defendant
respectfully requests this action to preserve his rights under the Fifth, Sixth and Fourteenth
Amendments of the United States Constitution, and Article I, Sections 10 and 19 of the Texas
Constitution, Articles 1.04, 1.05 and 1.051(a) of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
WHEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, Defendant herein would pray that the Court
consolidate multiple prosecutions into a single trial, for purposes of judicial efficiency.
