Good morning children. Today, I would like to draw your attention to the dry
weather. There has not been any rain for the past month. If this goes on,
there will not be enough water in the dam for our use. Therefore, all of us
should learn to save water. Here are a few steps you can take.
Turn off the tap while you are brushing your teeth. Gargle your
mouth with a glass of water instead of turning on the tap to save
water.
When you are taking a shower, turn off the tap while you are
soaping yourself. This also helps to save water.
Fill your sink with water and wash a few fruits at a time. Try not to
wash them under running water.
Use a watering can to wash your plants. Do not use a hose.
If you help your father to wash his car, use a pail of water and a rag
instead of a hose.
Do not leave the tap in the toilets running. Make sure you turn it off
after use.
If you see a leaking tap in the school toilet, inform the teacher-on-
duty.

Dear Hanim,
