Those born on and before January 17,1973 of Filipino mothers who elect
Philippine Citizenship upon reaching the age of majority are also deemed
natural-born citizens (1987 Constitution)
2. He must not be the owner of more than twelve (12) hectares of land.
3. The land must have been occupied and cultivated for at least thirty (30) years
prior to his application with the Deparment and has continuously occupied
and cultivated either by himself or his predecessor-in-interest and shall have
paid the real state tax thereon ( RA 9176)
The President shall have the power to reserve for settlement or public
use, or for specific public purposes, any of the lands of the public
domain (or private domain), the use of which is not otherwise directed
by law. . .
Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary and subject to private rights, if
any, public land actually occupied and used for public used for public schools,
municipal halls, public plazas or parks and other government institutions for public
use or purpose may be issued special patents under the name of the national agency or
LGU concerned. Provided, that all lands titled under this section shall not be disposed
of unless sanctioned by Congress if owned by the national agency or sanction by the
Sanggunian concerned through an approved ordinance if owned by the LGU.
