    experiences on their favorite messaging apps – Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and
    WeChat. We are in a rapid growth stage, where we need to move fast while consistently
    delivering a high quality service. As a data architect, you will be responsible for scaling a
    data intensive architecture that fuels great customer experiences while adhering to the
    most stringent data privacy standards.

    The challenge you're accepting at Yalo

     Gather data and analytics requirements from the Customer Success and Enterprise
    Application teams and identify the appropriate architecture patterns required

     Contribute to advancing our reference architectures and design guidelines

     Provide expertise in data profiling, governance, data specification, and enterprise data
    models

     Work with the conversational intelligence team to develop tagging & metadata handling
    strategies
    Who you are

     5+ years experience with the Apache open stack

     Strong familiarity with Apache Kafka

     Experience running ETL systems in production using Apache Flume / Sqoop,


    Streamworks, or similar.

     Knowledge of lambda style architecture as a core competency

     Experience with Cloudera, Hortonworks, Cassandra, StreamSets and Elastic Search

     Some experience with various machine learning platforms and stacks a plus
