A. Differentiate bloom’s and revised bloom’s taxonomy of learning objectives.

B. Identify the types of the following

1. Evaluation
2. Test
3. Standardized tests
1. Evaluation- is a systematic determination of a subjects merit, worth and significance, using
criteria governed by a set of standards. It . It can assist an organization, program, project or any
other intervention or initiative to assess any aim, realisable concept/proposal, or any alternative,
to help in decision-making; or to ascertain the degree of achievement or value in regard to the
aim and objectives and results of any such action that has been completed.[1] The primary
purpose of evaluation, in addition to gaining insight into prior or existing initiatives, is to enable
reflection and assist in the identification of future change.[2] Evaluation is often used to
characterize and appraise subjects of interest in a wide range of human enterprises, including
the arts, criminal justice, foundations, non-profit organizations, government , healthcare and
other human services. It is long term and done at the end of a period of time.

2. Test or examination is an assessment intended to measure a test

taker's knowledge skills aptitude, physical fitness, or classification in many other topics
(e.g., beliefs). A test may be administered verbally, on paper, on a computer, or in a
predetermined area that requires a test taker to demonstrate or perform a set of skills. Tests
vary in style, rigor and requirements. For example, in a closed book test, a test taker is usually
required to rely upon memory to respond to specific items whereas in an open book test, a test
taker may use one or more supplementary tools such as a reference book or calculator when
responding.
A test may be administered formally or informally. An example of an informal test would be a
reading test administered by a parent to a child. A formal test might be a final
examination administered by a teacher in a classroom or an I.Q. test administered by a
psychologist in a clinic. Formal testing often results in a grade or a test score.
A test score may be interpreted with regards to a norm or criterion, or occasionally both. The
norm may be established independently, or by statistical analysis of a large number of
participants. An exam is meant to test a child's knowledge or willingness to give time to
manipulate that subject.

3. Standardized test is any form of test that (1) requires all test takers to answer the same
questions, or a selection of questions from common bank of questions, in the same way, and
that (2) is scored in a “standard” or consistent manner, which makes it possible to compare the
relative performance of individual students or groups of students. While different types of tests
and assessments may be “standardized” in this way, the term is primarily associated with large-
scale tests administered to large populations of students, such as a multiple-choice test given to
all the eighth-grade public-school students in a particular state, for example.

C .Discuss the importance of the teaching and learning process in the achievement of
the learning outcomes.

Teaching and learning process are important because they provide students with a clear
purpose to focus their learning efforts. Children enter school with their own learning
experiences. The school undertakes the responsibility of building further learning on the child’s
existing experiences. Therefore, at no stage or class de we start from ‘no learning’. A teacher
who is a facilitator and mentor of student’s learning needs to be made aware about various
pedagogies and also the progress in the child’s learning. This is important for providing quality
education for all.

D. What will you practice in the classroom that will ascertain the implementation of no
child left behind policy?

As a future teacher I will assess my students learning progress individually so that I can give
enough time to help him/her to understand the subject matter and must know how to use
assessments results to plan effective instruction. If a child is not making progress with one
method of instructions, I will use different strategies and more appropriate method for them to
cope up.

E. How will you practice fairness in grading and reporting learners progress

Classroom assessment and grading practices have the potential not only to measure and report
learning but also to promote fairness in the class. Grades are often source of
misunderstanding, we all know that fair scoring and grading truly promotes learning. That’s why,
for me to arrive to that fair of score s and grades , I am going to use rubrics as needed. Rubrics
are the best tool in order to have an effective assessment process because it avoids and
prevent bias. The grades and scores of the students should depend on their performance
gathered, scores obtained from the quizzes and activity and how the students executed task. So
as much as possible. I will be objective in giving grades and score. I will have also a criteria
especially in reporting and class presentation of every students so that I can give them a fair
grades depends on their performance and for those students who are low and under average
learning I will consider their efforts and attitudes in the class.
