The Lettrist movement, founded in Paris in 1946 by Isidore
Isou (1925–2007) and Gabriel Pomerand (1925–1972), sought to
communicate on a visceral level through the use of sound and the
form of letters alone. The first manifesto was presented publicly
on 8 January 1946.3 That same month, on 21 January 1946, an
intervention was held at a reading organized by Michel Leiris of
“Perhaps I Would Have Been Abraham, Tzara’s La Fuite (The Flight), a work published the following year.

במלאת מאה שנה לתנועת דאדא ,מוזיאון תל־אביב לאמנות מתכבד להציג תערוכה
שעניינה מלים ,אותיות ,והשימוש רב־הדמיון שעשו בהן אמנים ,משוררים ומיסטיקאים.
התערוכה מפגישה את המקובל אברהם אבולעפיה ( 1292-1240בקירוב) וקבלת
השמות שפיתח; את אמני דאדא שהחלו לפעול בציריך ב־ ;1916ואת הלטריסטים,
שתנועתם נוסדה בפריז ב־ .1946משותפת ליוצרים אלה פרקטיקה של פירוק משפטים
לכלל מלים ומלים לכלל אותיות ,הגייתן בקול וסידורן בטיפוגרפיות ייחודיות
ובמערכים חזותיים יוצאי דופן .גם אם צמחו מתוך רקעים ונסיבות היסטוריות
שונות בעליל ,יוצרים אלה חולקים סדר־יום של פעולה בשולי החברה ותשוקה לשינוי
הסטטוס־קוו .מטרתם היתה להערים על ההיגיון ולתַקשר במישור החזותי שמעֵבר
למלים ,ליצירת חוויה ישירה ומטלטלת היוצאת מן הקרביים וחודרת חדרי בטן.
ההשפעה של דאדא והלטריזם על שירת הצליל הפוסט־מודרנית ועל השירה
הקונקרטית או החזותית נחקרה לא מעט ,וכך גם השפעתם על התיאטרון והקולנוע.
הגותו של אבולעפיה ,בתיווכם של ההומניסטים הרנסנסיים ג‘ובאני פיקו דלה־
מירנדולה ויוהאן רויכלין ,הטביעה אף היא את חותמה על השיח העכשווי ,בין ז‘אק
דרידה לאומברטו אקו .במהלך המחקר לקראת התערוכה התברר במפתיע שאיזידור
איזו ,מייסד הלטריזם ,והמשורר איוואן גול ,שפעל בזיקה לדאדא ,הכירו את יצירתו
של אבולעפיה בסוף שנות ה־ 40וראו בה מקור השראה למפעלם האמנותי.

‘המלים החופשיות’ ,כמו אפולינר; או ‘המלה כשלעצמה’ ,כמלארמה” 8.המשוררים

הרשב“א הוקיע את אבולעפיה מפורשות בעוון “פירוש כתבי הקודש ודברי גרוס)91. קורא גם לעצמי [ ”Merzעמ‘ 83.]69-66ואילו צארה כתב“ :דאדא לימד אותנו שאיש
שלו92. החכמים באמצעים של גימטריה” ,אך התייחס גם לאמירות משיחיות המעשה והמשורר חייבים להקדיש את מלוא הווייתם לעקרונות מַנחים אלה ,באורח
מטרת אבולעפיה במסעו הראשון לארץ הקודש ב־ 1260היתה למצוא את בלתי מתפשר ובהקרבה עצמית מוחלטת” 84.גם אבולעפיה ,מצדו ,דרש התמסרות מלאה
עשרת השבטים האבודים מעֵבר לנהר הסמבטיון האגדי ,כדי להחיש את איחוד לשיטות שניסח.
שבטי ישראל בבחינת אות לביאת המשיח ,אלא שכוונותיו סוכלו בעקבות פלישות אבולעפיה ,הדאדאיסטים והלטריסטים מרדו בסטטוס־קוו ובזרם המרכזי; הם
המונגולים למזרח התיכון והקרבות במעיין חרוד שבעמק יזרעאל באותה שנה .לאחר בהשראת דחף משיחי שנייה”85. פעלו בשולי החברה ,ואבולעפיה אף כ ּו ּנה “אליטה
מכן ,ב־ ,1280ביקש אבולעפיה להיפגש עם האפיפיור ניקולאס השלישי כדי לשוחח חבוי לשנות את החברה ולעורר אותה ,התמסרו הדאדאיסטים והלטריסטים למעשים
איתו ,ככל הנראה בענייני יהדות ומשיחיות .האפיפיור איים שאם ינסה לפוגשו יו ּצא שהיו לא־פעם קיצוניים 86.התשוקה לחתור תחת מוסכמות הבורגנות הובילה את אמני
להורג בשריפה .למזלו של אבולעפיה ,בליל הגעתו לפגישה התברר שהאפיפיור מת דאדא והלטריזם למחאה חברתית :הדאדאיסטים הפעילו “אנטי־אמנות” נגד הז‘רגון
באורח פתאומי. גי דבור (,)1994-1931 ,Debord הראשונה87. מחרחר המלחמה של מלחמת העולם
הדאדאיסטים השתמשו לפעמים במונחים משיחיים :עם הגעתו לפריז ב־1918 שהתפלג מהתנועה הלטריסטית כדי לייסד את “האינטרנציונל הלטריסטי” ב־1952
ופיטרסון מבחין כי “למרבה האירוניה ,גישתו המשיח”93, תואר צארה “כאילו היה ואת “האינטרנציונל הסיטואציוניסטי” ב־ ,1957היה מעורב באירועי מאי 1968
הניהיליסטית התקבלה כנושאת ערך נבואי” 94.אצל איזידור איזו ּ ,ההיבט המשיחי כבר בפריז ,שרוח המרי הדאדאיסטית נשבה בהם ,כמאמר צארה“ :דאדא בחר בעמדת
קו ּדם לקדמת הבמה .בספר שהועלה לאינטרנט לאחר מותו ,בשם קץ עידן האלוהות ההתקפה ויצא נגד השיטה החברתית ככלל ,שאותה ראה ככרוכה לבלי הפרד בטיפשות
(על מותו של איזו) ,נכתב במפורש“ :במסכת כתובות (קיא ע“א) מלמדנו התלמוד כי האנושית – טיפשות ששיאה בהרס האדם בידי האדם ,ובהרס כל נכסיו החומריים
נאסר על היהודים להפעיל כוח אנושי לזירוז כינונה של מדינת היהודים לפני ביאת והרוחניים ]…[ .רוח המרי הולידה חתרנות רדיקלית ,והשערוריה החברתית שגרמה
המשיח המקובל על הכל ,משיח בן דוד .אנחנו סבורים כי איזידור איזו ,שפרסם את היתה קיצונית עד כדי כך שהציגה אותנו כעבריינים או כאימבצילים ]…[ .המתקפות
המניפסט הלטריסטי ב־ ,1946שנתיים לפני הקמתה של מדינת ישראל ב־ ,1948היה שלנו כֻּוונו אל עמודי התווך של החברה ,אל השפה כסוכנת של תקשורת בין יחידים
למעשה המשיח ,וכי מותו ב־ 2007מסמן את קץ עידן האלוהו ּת” 95.עוד קודם לכן כתב ביניהם”88. ואל ההיגיון כמלט המחבר

שהיא גם תקופתם של חז“ל .מצד אחד ,המנהג של כתיבת קמיעות על לוחיות מתכת
המגולגלות לתוך נרתיק ונישאות על הצוואר ,מקורו בעולם הלא יהודי; קמיעות
כאלו מתועדים אצל הפניקים ואצל היוונים הרבה לפני שהיהודים החלו להשתמש
בהם .מצד שני ,תוכנם של הקמיעות הארמיים והעבריים הוא פעמים רבות יהודי
במובהק ,כולל השימוש בפסוקי מקרא ,בשמות האל ,בשמות של מלאכים ובצירופי
אותיות ,ובעיקר אותיות השם המפורש .משום כך אין להתפלא על כך שגם ספרות

הסרט התחיל כבר? הוא ניסיון ראשון לשבירת המסגרת הנורמלית של הייצוג
הקולנועי .הקרנה זו עוסקת במרכיביו השונים של המופע הקולנועי — צליל ,תמונה,
מסך ,אולם — וטורפת אותם אחד־אחד .לאחר מכן היא שבה ומשלבת אותם לכלל
הרכבה תיאטרלית מורכבת ,הכוללת:
תמונה בעריכה מואצת עם פסקול דיאכרוני הולם .התמונה עצמה מרוטשת, 1
כלומר ,הפריימים המרכיבים אותה כוסו במוטיבים מופשטים ,סמליים או אנקדוטליים,

הטובה עליכם .יש להתבונן במלים שנוצרות ,הן במובנות ,הן בסתומות.
קחו עט או עיפרון ודף נייר ,או דף ממחברת ,והתחילו לצרף צירופים של
שלוש אותיות .קודם צרפו אב“ג ,וכדי לבדוק אם צירפתם נכון ,ראו למטה .אחר כך
