School safety and security in our school is necessary to support the academic
success of each child, giving them the opportunity to learn and achieve in a safe and
nurturing environment. Strict policies on school policy promote increased learning, feelings
of school unity, higher levels of pro-social behavior and decreased levels of violence.
The crisis of violence in school has devastating effects. All necessary steps and
precautions need to be taken to ensure the safety of all students. Zero tolerance policy and
violence prevention program is instituted in our school.
All school personnel the teaching and non-teaching staff, students, parents,
communities need to work together to ensure Diagyan National High School a better and
safe place for everyone.

C. SCENARIOS

If a bullying happens in the school premises, it must be reported to the school

guidance counselor to be able to identify it and give some advice and preventions against it.

In case of an earthquake happens, use the bell or alarm signal to every person in
the school to go to a safe and open area.
In case of fire, use also the bell or alarm to give signal to everyone inside the school
premises to go to safe and open area, used fire extinguisher if it can be prevented.
In case of fight, address students by name and command them to stop fighting. Send
another student to the principal’s office for help.
In case of electrocution, give first aid to the victim and bring him/her to the nearest
clinic or hospital.
For physical abuse, we are state-mandated reporters meaning that if we observe
signs of suspected child abuse or neglect, we are legally required to take action and report
our suspicions to the proper authorities, usually Child Protective Services.
In case of theft, No ID No Entry policy must be observed in order to avoid the entry
of outsiders. The gate and other entry must be guarded to know the identity of the persons
involved.
Below is the Anatomy of the human-induced hazard that need to plan for.
