    COASTAL CLEAN-UP DRIVE

    In reference to the advisory on the 34th International Clean Up Drive and as

    mandated by DepEd no. 93 s. 2011, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization

    (Yes-O) officers conducted series of clean-up activities which were held on September 23,

    25, and 27 2019. A total of 304 participants partook in the recently concluded clean up

    drive. The first two waves of the clean-up campaign were participated in by a total of 85

    student participants and 5 (five) faculty members whereas on the last leg of the aforesaid

    activity, forty-nine (49) parents came to join in. As part of the ‘bonding session” and the

    second PTA assembly initially planned by the PTA officers, parents, faculty members, and

    student officers worked in unity in beautification of the school surrounding.

    At 6:00 am, participants were briefed about the task, after which, they immediately

    prepared their cleaning materials and proceeded to their assigned area. Cleaning

    operations began at 7:00 am in which participants were instructed to record their

    collected waste materials and segregate them properly. Designated YES-O officers initiated

    the consolidation of the students’ data entries on classification of waste materials. Upon

    completion of the previous task, Sir Ryan Villahermosa, OIC-Principal, along with Mr.

    Ruel Ferrer, SSG President, Mr. Nonilon Carag, YES-O President, and Mr. Irineo Ebora,

    GenPTA President, expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards all the stakeholders who

    cooperated and contributed to the success of the activity.
