FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT QUESTION 12 ACTIVITY 3.

What things would you include in the WBS section of an implementation plan?

The WBS is a view into the project that illustrates the work the project encompasses.

The Project Manager and project team use the WBS to develop the project schedule,

resource requirements, and costs. The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) section

follows on from the implementation schedule. It breaks down major phases of work

into smaller activities and provides details of each key activity.

WBS should list:

- all the workforce plans, initiatives and changes to be delivered.

- the actions that need to be taken to deliver each workforce plans, initiatives and

changes

- the resources required for the successful implementation of each workforce

plans, initiatives and changes

The WBS also defines the timeline for the initiation in and completion of key

activities, where this occurs the dependency should be identified and documented.
