    Asian Quarts Sand Inc.

    Dear. Mr. Erni:

    This letter is in connection with your verbal request for pull out of your equipment, specifically the
    three (3) KVA transformers and one (1) unit LPG Tank (Big capacity) located in Building Nos. 1
    and 2 of the Porac Technology Center.

    We are constrained to ask you to please formalize the said request by submitting to us a letter
    concerning this so that we can be able to refer the same to the DOST-TRC Transition committee
    for their consideration.

    On the other hand, and without pre-empting the decision of the DOST-TRC Transition Committee,
    please make the necessary repairs on the notable damages on buildings which we took notice
    upon inspection last 11 June 2019. During the said inspection, we found that numerous window
    glasses were broken and that the steel doors have been severely damaged and was rendered
    dysfunctional already.

    It must be noted that under the lease agreement, “AQSI shall, at its sole expense, maintain the
    premises in a good order and condition.” This obligation continues to be in effect until proper
    turnover has been made to DOST-TRC.

    In this regard, demand is hereby given for you to make the necessary repairs on the leased
    premises within fifteen (15) days from receipt hereof. Failure to do so might result to unfavorable
    action on your request without prejudice to legal action DOST-TRC may take against you.

    Please give this matter your preferential attention to avoid inconvenience to both parties.
