C. Lesson Proper

is simple and easy to bake. Let us learn first
the ingredients for baking a chocolate moist
cake.

What do you think are the dry ingredients  2 cups white sugar
needed for the chocolate moist cake?  1 ¾ cups flour
 1 ½ cups unsweetened cocoa
 1 teaspoonful baking soda
 1 teaspoonful baking powder
 Salt
Great!
 2 eggs
Now how about liquid ingredients?
 1 cup evaporated milk
 1 cup vegetable oil/ ½ butter
 1 cup hot water

How about the frosting?  ½ cup unsweetened cocoa


 ½ butter
 1 can condensed milk

Perfect! Now it’s time for us to learn the


procedures.

Can anyone tell me the steps in baking a Step 1


chocolate moist cake are? Preheat the oven at 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
Prepare a clean round pan with baking sheet.

Mix all the dry ingredients and liquid
ingredients in a separate mixing bowl.
Afterwards, mix it altogether using a hand
mixer.
Step 3
Pour it in the round pan and place it in the
oven for about an hour. Check if the bottom is
thoroughly cooked using a toothpick.

Step 4
Prepare the frosting. Preheat the sauce pan
and pour 1 can of condensed milk. Let it
simmer then add cocoa and butter.

Step 5
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool
down at least 5 minutes. After, pour the
frosting from the top of the cake and put it in
the fridge for an hour.

Step 6
Serve with a cup of hot coffee or milk.
