    Personal Statement

    Muhammad Luthfian Aenimustafa

    Academically, I have always been a very determined and studious individual, hence why I knew
    that a degree at University would be the definite next step. I have a broad interest in many
    subject areas yet feel drawn towards a business or economics orientated degree. With regards
    to Business, the reasoning behind my choice is the complex and intriguing nature of the
    subject. I particularly enjoy the way business so appropriately blends in with everyday issues.
    Since taking the subject of entrepreneurship and management my interest has grown and
    matured and I am able to view many businesses analytically and make suggestions regarding
    possible improvements.

    Being young, dreams of one day running a business were frequently replaced by the prospect
    of becoming a professional athlete in badminton; as I played competitively and was highly
    motivated by my personal trainers. However, I was never able to forget business, as studying
    the course could be my best chance to utilize all that I had learnt throughout my growing and
    diverse experiences around the world.

    The best mankind for me are those who give the benefit to others. That’s the reason why I
    actively involved in many organization and volunteered events. I was the Founder of Foreign
    Language Community, a group of students who volunteered to teach bilingual foreign
    languages (English & Arabic) to the lower classes society in various areas in Jakarta and South
    Tangerang.

    Despite having many activities, studying has always been my prior. I currently completing a
    Bachelor of Economics with a minor in Islamic Business by a perfect 4.0 GPA. In recognition of
    my outstanding academic record, the university has honored me as the most outstanding
    graduation in 2018 and selected me to enter into graduate studies with a fully funded
    scholarship, a privilege given to only a few of the excellent students each year.

    In the last three years, the development of the digital economic system in my country has
    shown tremendous impact. It has changed people's behavior from day to day. The presence of
    technology has helped them in meeting their daily needs. Unfortunately, this large demand is
    not followed by adequate human resources in this field, so that companies are having technical
    problems while running their business. Innovation seems to become the key of success for a
    Start-up company, as today every company is competing to create a product that can be
    accepted in the community.
    The Master of E-Business and Innovation offers a combination of theory and practical studies
    in order to enhance career prospects and extend knowledge in entrepreneurship. The courses
    you provide will strengthen my employability in the areas of innovation management while
    providing an international business management qualification.

    After completing university, I hope to have acquired the necessary knowledge base and
    wisdom to first acquire a master degree then take part in a respectable company where I will
    continue to evolve personally and as a businessman. In time, I hope to be behind the unraveling
    of the crisis that is currently relapsing our economy, and I hope to one day be the owner of my
    own successful business, where I will have the opportunity to empower my community and
    help others who are in need.
