    Subject: Discontinuation of Empanelment of Consultants for Highways, Bridges and Tunnel

    Projects on National Highways and Other Centrally Sponsored Schemes- Reg.

    Madam/Sir,

    This is in supersession of Ministry's letter no. RW-NH-34054/1 /2014-S&R (B) dated

    12.10.2017 regarding empanelment of consultants for Highways, Bridges and Tunnel

    Projects on National Highways and Other Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

    2. The Ministry has already framed standard document for appointing consultancy

    services for preparation of DPR/ supervision based on requisite qualifications/ turnover

    of the firm and also the qualification and experience of key personnel. The project

    executing agencies, while inviting tenders, evaluate the proposal for technical as well

    financial qualifications as per the criteria laid down in the RFP as per the requirement of

    the project. Accordingly, there may not be much relevance for empanelment of

    consultants. Therefore, the process of empanelment of consultant for Highways, Bridges

    and Tunnel Projects on National Highways and Other Centrally Sponsored Schemes is

    hereby discontinued.

    The contents of this Circular may be brought to the notice of all concerned in

    your organization.
